The SUV are the recent trending variant of automobile for many car enthusiasts. With the recent back to back launch of new SUV models this year there is plenty of option for buyers to choose from. The Citroen Berlingo MPV a sub-metre SUV is also soon to be adding up on the cue to get launched. Presently, in its third generation this car is a first-rate model in the global market. As already information are disclosed on the Citroen being working very hard on the upcoming launches of their new models in India as already the testing for their C5 Air cross model got spotted during testing. But this time, the Berlingo MPV was seen on the Gurgaon highway doing test runs.
Spotted features and upgrades on the new Berlingo MPV
The Berlingo was very much appreciated globally is currently in its third generation, this car only got better. Each generation brought new features and ungraded in the car keeping the consumer demand and comfort in mind.
Exterior
- The new Berlingo is based on the company’s new EMP2 platform.
- A noticeable upgrade that is spotted in the car is the position of the driver seat for the convenience of comfortable driving also there is a shorter bonnet used in the car.
- The car gets a sliding for the second rowers also on the button there is door protector.
- Also there are tail lamps that are positioned vertically; the wind screen in the back is quite large which gives clear visibility to the back seaters with a rear gate that contains the number plates.
Interior
- Although it is still not clear how the interior of the car will be like but we can get pretty good idea from the model sold overseas. That the car will be available in both 5 seater and 7 seater seating arrangement options that will come out in the names of an M and XL respectively.
- The car will be also equipped with an eight inch infotainment unit that will come with wireless charging, Android auto, Apple car play and navigation.
- The measurement for the compact Berlingo version measures around 4.4 metre but the elongate version comes in4.75 metre which is ideal and also practical manufacture for Indian buyers.
Under the hood
The Berlingo MPV comes in both 1.2 litre petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engines which produces 110 bhp and 130 bhp respectively.
Although it is still not known when this model will make a debut in the Indian market but we don’t know if the French car builders have any plans for it. The Toyota Innova Crysta and Mahindra Marazzo will be the rivals if the Berlingo plans for a launch in India.
