RR Global announced the introduction of two new electric scooters- B8 and A2. The manufacturing of these will begin in a factory set up in Chakan, Pune, and the sales will begin from August 2020. Check out the specifications of both of these down below:
BGauss B8
The B8 is available in four colour options namely silk red, sparkling blue, nebula grey and pearl white. It has a maximum speed of 50 Kmph, a torque of 94.6 NM and 1900 Watt power peak. The load capacity of the vehicle is 150 Kg, and it can seat 2 riders. It is fitted with 10 inches alloy-wheels. Talking about the battery of the vehicle, it comes with two battery options to take your pick from- Lithium battery with a power of 1.45 Kw/57.6 V and a lead acid battery with a power of 223.3 AH/60 V. The lithium battery is removable and takes up to 3 hours to charge, while the lead-acid battery is fixed and takes 7 to 8 hours to charge. The lithium battery also has a warranty of 3 years, while the lead-acid battery has a warranty of 1 year.
BGauss A2
A2 is available in three unique colour options- Caspian blue, glacier ice and super white. This model has a maximum speed of 25 Kmph, and 250 watts rated power motor. The load capacity of the vehicle is 150 kgs (2 riders). It also comes with features such as find your scooter, anti-theft alarm and remote lock unlock. Talking about the battery of the scooter, it is available in two battery options- lithium battery and lead-acid battery. The lithium battery is removable, has a warranty of 3 years, power of 1.29 Kw/57.6 V and a charging time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. On the other hand, the lead-acid battery is fixed, has a warranty of 1 year, power of 22.3 AH/60 V and a charging time of 5 to 6 hours. Additional features of the vehicle are that it comes with a multi-coloured display, LED headlights, sensor-enabled side stand and reverse assist.
In both the models, there are 3 riding modes available:
B8: The long range and efficiency mode (36 Kmph), easy and efficient daily commute (42 Kmph), and high speed and high-performance mode (50 Kmph).
A2: The long range and efficiency mode (16 Kmph), easy and efficient daily commute (21 Kmph), and high speed and high-performance mode (25 Kmph).
Price: The price is expected to be between 50,000 to 1.5 Lakh.
