Launches from Audi is much awaited all over India by car lovers and the latest news from the brand is the much awaited launch of the Audi RS Q8. The car is expected to be equipped with a 600 bhp 4litre twin-turbo powertrain designed with V8 technology.
The model is a much anticipated launch of the brand and they have further ignited the curiosity of numerous fans through a teaser video that they have released and it is a hint that the launch can be expected very soon. One can say by tallying the features and specifications that the new Audi RS Q8 with be a superior performance version of the Q8 SUV.
Balbir Singh Dhillon who is the head of Audi India, had further revealed during the launch of the RS7 Racerback that the Audi RS q8 is not the only RS model that is being revealed in India this year. The car was first unveiled to the world in the Los Angeles Auto Show conducted in 2019. The model is considered the fastest available SUV in Nurburgring and it has a lap timing of approximately 7 minute and 42.2 seconds.
The twin-turbo V8 engine with 4 liter capacity powers the car’s robust performance and it is tuned to produce power up to 600bhp with 800Nm of Torque. Furthermore, the power is sent to all the four wheels at the same time with the help of the 8-speed transmission gearbox which is also automated. The powerful engine is one of the major internal highlights of the car. The external highlights include the new single frame grille and the aggressive fascia which has a stark difference from the previous models from the brand. The front and rear bumpers are also redesigned and there is an integrated diffuser as well. These are few of the RS spec spoilers that have grabbed the attention of many who were looking forward to this launch. The model also features a 22-inch alloy wheel which will be the standard for these models. The 23-inch versions are available as an option and you can get them custom-fitted if you want.
The car will feature sports car-seats which are made of leather with alcantara trims and there is also a R8 specific flat steering along with a virtual cockpit- together, all these features give the most comfortable driving experience possible.
