Rolls-Royce is reportedly working on technology to improve the air quality inside their car models using sensors that operate on Nano fleece technology.
The air quality deterioration and increasing pollution all around the world is a global concern today. To top this all, 2020 began as the harbinger of corona virus, making us question whether the air we are breathing in is at all safe. This is applicable indoors as well as outdoors. This have not only impact our lifestyle as millions of people around the world look for products which will make the air purer, it has also instigated brands in different sectors to do their part in making our environment safer. One of the highly demanded item in this situation is the car air purifier. Many car brands have come up with their version of the inbuilt air purifiers for cars. This is seen as a part of many recently launched models, especially from luxury car makers. Rolls-Royce has also become a part of this trend and one can expect the best from a brand with such rich heritage. The brand claim that they have come up with technology that will provide the cleanest air possible in the car.
The future models from the brand will be equipped with highly sensitive detectors and sensors which will be able to find the minimal traces of impurities in the air, within the car. Once the impurities are detected, the air circulation system and fresh air intake of the car with be switched on automatically. All these features will get activated when the contamination is above the acceptable level. A nanofleece filter is placed within the car through which all the impurities are channeled and purified. The technology is useful for removing the finest of dust and germ particles as well as virus and bacteria from the inside of the car in less than two minutes. As per the makers, this in turn will help to elevate the air quality and maintain it consistently inside the car.
The new technology can make sure the users of the car are protected against carbon and pollens, and other contaminants. The company have been developing this specific technology since 2016. All the Rolls-Royce models will benefit from this technology and have this implemented. For the upcoming launch, Ghost, the company has further developed the technology to include various hardware as well as software developments that are collectively called the Micro Environment Purification system.
