With the spread of COVID-19 not showing any sign of being subdued, many car companies have taken initiatives in their own way to give rider a safer experience of venturing out when using their vehicle. One such is the Tata motors who have launched several health and hygiene related accessories and these will be made available in all dealerships, outlets and showrooms across the country. According to the company, the new accessories are designed to give the customers are safer ambience inside the car and will be suitable for installation in new as well as existing Tata car models. Taking the coronavirus pandemic situation of the country into account, the accessories have been designed accordingly and includes an air purifier, air filer and sanitization Kit.
The Air-o-Pure 95 purifier, as named by the brand, is designed to be fitted into the cup holder slot available in all the Tata car models. The air purifier is equipped with Active carbon HEPA filter and UV-C Light which can help to improve the air quality inside the car by removing any dust particles and volatile organic compounds. It can also filter out smoke and bacteria and viruses inside the car and the result is a much purer ambience for the riders. For a gadget that is so small and compact it is powerful enough and designed to fit into the Tata car models in particular.
The air filter which is available from the brand is designed to filter out any type of impurities like bacteria and viruses up to 0.3microns. The interior air quality is improved to a great extent and hence the customers are safe from any kind of allergic reactions and diseases. The filter is also helpful for those who have respiratory disorders. As of now, the filter is available for installation in Nexon and Harrier but it will also be made available for other cars too.
Lastly the sanitization kit has all kinds of essentials for the pandemic and includes hand sanitizer, the N95 mask, mist diffuser, tissue box, hand gloves. There is also a driving kit which have covers for all the exposed touch points of the car like the steering wheel, seats and gear knobs.
Apart from thee accessories, they have also introduced a sanitization service for the Tata cars. The service is called vehicle air and surface disinfectant service. The car is kept locked for twenty minutes and in-cabin space is disinfected by the system. The company has also launched separator films to help in social distancing even within the car. To keep a closed and safe distant between the passengers in the front and rear seats of the car, the separator films can simply be used as a barrier and will enhance the overall safety by preventing contamination through contact. Altogether, the new accessories and services are apt for the present situation and will encourage interested buyers to invest in a Tata vehicle.
