New launch alert- Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS BS6 @INR 1.99 Lakhs

The Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS BS6 has finally launched in India and is priced at INR 1.99 lakhs as per the showroom prices. It is approximately INR 10,000 more expensive than the BS4 but there is aesthetical updates or additional features as such.

Mahindra Two-wheelers are some of the most coveted bikes in the country and their recent launch is the Mahindra Mojo 300. The company dropped a number of teasers on the internet for a long time and they have finally revealed the price which is INR 1.99 lakhs for showrooms in the country. The models were existing but after the new emission regulations came into action, they were pull out of the market in April 2020. But they are now going to make a comeback after the engine is made compliant to the new regulations and there will be several new colour options available. There is not aesthetical updates of the design though and it will retain the old design. One can book the bike with a token price of INR 5000 significantly ahead of time. The delivery of the bikes will begin in a few days.

Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS BS6

You will have four choices when it comes to the colour of the bike- Ruby red, Garnet black, Red Agate and Black Pearl. Some of the noteworthy features of the bikes are listed below:

  • There is a dual-headlamp setup in the front end of the bike and the fuel tank has a capacity of 21 litres.
  • The seat is a step-up style single piece variant and the bike runs on alloy wheels.
  • There is also a BS6 decal on the fuel tank extension which was absent before.
  • The latest version of the Mahindra Mojo model is also likely to have a semi-digital instrument console.
  • The UT variant of the bike was discontinued last year and now only the XT variant will be available.
  • The Mojo 300 ABS BS6 is also going to have an updated engine with 295cc single cylinder. Previously the engine produced 26bhp and 7500rpm, and the peak torque went up to 28Nm and 5500 rpm. The statistics of the latest launch is yet to be revealed.
  • Dual channel ABS is a standard for this bike.

There are several bikes which are considered its competitors after it is launched. Among these there are Bajaj Dominar 250, Suzuki Gixxer 250, and KTM 250 Duke to name a few.
